Equipment List

Non stick board and rolling pin
Cel Pad - (soft sponge type matt)
Ball Tool, cel stick, scalpel, wire cutters

Textured veining tool
Small sharp nail scissors

Corn flour dusting pouch
30g, 28g, 26g/24g green wire and 28g, 26g white wire (also some stronger wires such as 22, 20g green or white) Pleaae note that white wires can be used for everything except 30g green.
Green, dark brown and white Florist tape.

Dark brown cotton thread

Confectioners varnish
Dusting colour brushes (flat paint brushes are good)

Fine paint brush for painting.
1 old brush for using as glue brush.
Small jam jar (for water to keep glue brush from drying out)
Cold Porcelain

Kitchen Roll, Wet wipes, white acrylic paint
Plus any extra tools/helpful bits you may usually use …

 

Cutters and Veiners


Rose petal cutters – at least 5 in ascending sizes

Small lily petal cutters or Multi leaf/petal cutters (set of 5 for leaves and lily petals)

Small lily petal veiner – but can vein by hand
Rose Calyx cutter – medium and large.

Serrated edge leaf cutters if you have them or fern cutters / veiners – we can use rose leaf veiners

Honeysuckle leaf veiner

Large leaf veiner – 3 leaves, I used Camelia veiner with a Arum Lily cutter

 

 

Colours as usual will be of students choice.


Suggested colouring dusts - selections of cream, peach/yellows/oranges, greens, reds/burgundy/aubergene/fushia pink, purples, black and brown and Eidelweis white. A lustre dust such as Silky peach (Sugarflair) or Lemon Meringue (Edable Art) can be effective.

 

Colour pastes: usual selection – green, yellow, pink etc.
